From factory workers to uniformed military members, these brave American women help win the war and usher in new economic and social changes that will forever alter the role of women in American society. Mrs. Bradford of the U.S. Army Women’s Museum lead our students through archive analysis that revealed the scope and breadth of women’s service at home and abroad. They heard the voices, felt the emotions, and examine the human dimensions of this massive cultural shift in our nation. Thank you to the U.S. Army Women's Museum and Mrs. Bradford for this unique and enriching experience for our 8th grade.
