The Home-School Association welcomes, needs, and encourages your help. Volunteers keep our HSA running. We have a significant number of activities and events, in which your help would be a great asset. Every St. Rose of Lima family is Welcome!
Volunteer Roles & Opportunities
We are assembling our team of volunteers and we NEED you! We offer so many wonderful programs and events at our school, and need parent volunteers to make it happen! If you are interested in serving, there are opportunities during the school day, in the evening, and on your own time.
Please consider taking on one of the following roles:- Committee Chairperson
- As the Chairperson of a committee, you will be responsible for providing leadership to committee members to plan and execute an event. This includes but is not limited to understanding the budget, fundraising goals, working with committee members and volunteers to organize, delegate tasks to see an event through from the planning stages to the wrap-up.
- Example- Chairperson for Fall Festival, Breakfast with Santa, Winter Wonderland Dance, Girl’s Night Out, Auction
- As the Chairperson of a committee, you will be responsible for providing leadership to committee members to plan and execute an event. - Committee Member
- As a committee member, you will be part of a group/committee to help run an event. You will be provided direction by a chairperson. Responsibilities may include attending planning meetings, executing tasks assigned and being present on the day of the event.
- Example- Member of the Winter Wonderland, Mother/Son Event, Girl’s Night Out, SocialCommittee

- Program Coordinator
- As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for running a specific program throughout the school year or during the time frame of the program.
- Example: Class Parent Coordinator, SCRIP, Enrichment, Uniform Swap, Hospitality, Jr Rosary

- Team Member (*New Role)
- This is a cross functional role that will assist on a variety of events and needs. This is the most flexible role, many of the responsibilities can be done remotely! As a member of a team you will have an opportunity to share your expertise, talent, passion or hobby.
- Example: Marketing, Social Media, Crafting, Technology, Baking, Photography/Videography, Speaker Connections
- This is a cross functional role that will assist on a variety of events and needs. This is the most flexible role, many of the responsibilities can be done remotely! As a member of a team you will have an opportunity to share your expertise, talent, passion or hobby.
- Volunteer
- As a volunteer you will participate with the set up or day of the event/program only. As the event date draws near, volunteers will be requested to help run the event. You will be assigned tasks on that day such as helping children shop, set up table décor, order distribution.
- Example: Volunteer day off for Book Fair, Jr. Rosary, Spring Bloom Plant Sale
