WELCOME TO OUR NURSERY PROGRAM 2024-2025
Nursery meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 until 2:10 PM.The Week of March 10th
The children will introduced to the letter Uu this week. We will watch Turn and learn and Nursery Track for objects that begin with the /u/ sound. The children will dot the letter u for letter formation.
We will also explore numbers this week. We will review the numbers 1, 2, and 3 and look at the number 4. We will explore the numbers through educational videos, stories and poems.
The children will listen to the Alphatale story Umbrella Bird's Umbrella and will look for all the words/pictures that begin with /u/.
The children will also have a chance to work with scissors and go over scissor safety.Children will have a chance to play both inside and outside, weather permitting this week. They will work with various puzzles for fine motor skills and with other manipulatives, as well as have a chance to practice their coloring skills.
When it is too cold to be outside, the children will participate in many different indoor movement activities.
UPCOMING NEWS: Children will need to bring both snack/drink and lunch and drink. Please remember to put snack into a separate bag that is labeled snack and put that in their lunch box along with their lunch. Students should bring their folders to class each day.
