WELCOME TO OUR NURSERY PROGRAM 2024-2025
                                      
                                   


            Nursery meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 until 2:10 PM. 

The Nursery children are off to a good start.  This week all children will stay a full day and have lunch, snack, and rest time in school.

The Week of September 16th

This week we will continue to get acquainted with our classmates and classroom routines.  The children will be introduced to the letter Aa and they will receive 2 papers for "homework".  These are coloring and tracing papers for the letter Aa. They should be returned by Thursday.  In class we will sing our alphabet song, introducing the letter Aa and we will start looking at the first letter of each of our names.  We will read the Alphatale story called The Adventures of Abby Alligator and we will explore all the things we read about that begin with the letter Aa.  The students will also have a chance to dot the letter Aa for letter formation.  We will explore our colors, starting with the color red.  Students will be invited to wear something red on Thursday.  
 

 
UPCOMING NEWS:  Starting next week, September 16th,  all Nursery students will be in school from 8:30-2:10.  Children will need to bring both snack/drink and lunch and drink.  Please remember to put snack into a separate bag that is labeled snack and put that in their lunch box along with their lunch. Students should bring their folders to class each day. 

On Tuesday, September 17th the Nursery class will have their class and individual pictures.  If you have not brought back your child's envelope for pictures, please make sure they bring it in their folder on Tuesday.  Thank you!!
