Founded in 1959, St. Rose of Lima School is a parish Catholic elementary school in Massapequa, NY, in the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Following the NYS Next Generation Standards for PreK program in reading, language arts and math as well as the diocesan curriculum, the school educates students through eighth grade, with full-day Kindergarten and  Preschool Programs.

Nursery 

• 3 years old by 12/1
• 2 days a week, 8:30-2:10
• Full-Time teacher's assistants

Pre K

• 4 years old by 12/1
• Choice of 5 full days or 3 full days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) program 
• State certified early childhood educators for all classes
• Full-time teacher’s assistant
• School nurse on site
• Class limited to 20 children
• NYS Next Generation Standards for PreK program
• Religion instruction infused daily within the curriculum

Tuition Information
Tuition payments are made either annually or monthly checking account automatic deduction. Please call the school office at 516 541-1546 for tuition rates. 

Open Houses & Tours
Open Houses are generally held in early December and late January during Catholic Schools’ Week. Tours, guided by trained parents, are available upon request all throughout the year.  This is a great opportunity to see our school in session, visit the classrooms, tour the building and meet our teachers, principal and members of our parent organizations.
