Bridging Mathematics/Reading
Over the Summer
Dear Parents(Guardians) of Third Grade Students:
As the school year comes to an end the faculty and administration thought it prudent to continue a summer math/reading program for your child(ren). The students will work at a self-pace mode using the iReady program starting on July 5th and concluding on August 13th. Please note, students will not be able to access iReady after August 14, 2023.
Students are familiar with the iReady program, as it was a tool implemented throughout this past school year. Students will continue on their educational paths that iReady has created based on each child’s individual skill set/needs.
Each child will be required to complete a total of 2 lessons weekly - with a success percentage of 75% or higher throughout the summer (12 lessons total). With a minimum of 6 hours total for both Math/Reading.
It is our suggestion that students complete sessions each week. However, any schedule that parents/guardians deem appropriate for their child/children would be acceptable as long as the requirements are met by the deadline.
Students will be getting a performance grade based on their efforts in September.
We sincerely hope you and your family enjoy the summer break. Please stay well and be safe.
~Mrs. Brady & Mrs. Christensen
